Our Distant Mirror Archaeology Program is partnering again with Crow Canyon Archaeological Center to bring you a hands-on experience that your whole family will enjoy.
Explore the past, and learn together in a program designed with all generations in mind. This program focuses on fun, hands-on activities that introduce you to archaeology and the history of the ancestral Pueblo Indians (the Anasazi).
Activities:
• “Inquiries Into the Past” – an introductory session to teach you about the general history of the ancestral Pueblo Indians.
• Learn excavation techniques and how to identify artifacts.
• A visit to nearby Mesa Verde National Park.
• Laboratory processing, washing, and cataloging a variety of artifacts.
• A tour of Crow Canyon’s curation facility.
• Several evening programs.
• Visit previously excavated sites by Crow Canyon Archaeological Center.
Throughout the week you’ll enjoy delicious meals, comfortable accommodations, and camaraderie with people from all walks of life who share your passion for archaeology.
Adult: $1995 (per person) Youth: $1895 (per person age 10-17)
ALL INCLUSIVE fee covers transportation, accommodations, meals, entry fees and permits.
