Aug 13 & 14
Explore shipwrecks along Milwaukee’s harbor from the deck of the Milwaukee Boat Line’s bi-level vessel, the Voyageur. You’ll be using Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and sophisticated scanning sonar technology, while interacting with a team of experts in underwater technology exploration. Join in the excitement of documenting the side-wheel steamship, Sebastapol that wrecked off Bay View in 1855, the schooner Sumatra (1874-1896), and the wooden steamer Volunteer (1888-1910).
