Now in its third season, this adult education program continues to expound upon the ancient art of brewing beer, while gaining new insights into both the origins of beer, as well as the ethnographic variations of this fermented beverage throughout the world.
Taught by Discovery World’s staff archaeologist and aficionado of ancient brewing methods, participants in these brewing workshops will learn how to make traditional and ancient ales, as well as the techniques needed to brew at home. In order to take home your own samples of these beverages, participants must return to Discovery World two weeks following the initial brewing exercise to learn how to bottle their beer.
