Seventy years ago, on October 30th, 1938, the Martians invaded Earth. Fear and panic gripped the nation as a battle raged for the fate of our planet.
On Thursday, October 30th, 2008, at 7pm, the Martians invade again.
Join us for our annual recreation of Orson Welles and the Mercury Theater on the Air’s 1938 broadcast of The War of the Worlds by HG Wells. In the spirit of Halloween, Discovery World and 91.7 WMSE celebrate the 70th Anniversary of this historic broadcast with a live cast, music by John The Savage (playing at 6:30 and 8pm!), and cash bar.
The performance will be simulcast live on 91.7 WMSE.
